I have a 37" waist and have plenty of room for heavy clothing.I have scarecrow legs and have a hard time finding a saddle I can adjust the legs tight enough, but this one works for me. I have tried Buckingham and their sizes just don't work for me, Medium too small and Large way too big.If you can afford the top of the line saddle, go for it, much more adjustable, but if you want a quality saddle for less money then this one is worth it, even at $200.00. just make sure it fits well and don't settle for less.
